Gramothan Foundation’s objective is to create a scalable and sustainable model for rural upliftment. The key areas are environment, healthcare, education & micro finance. The foundation has adopted 13 villages in rural Karnataka, touching the lives of over 6000 people.
SGMF has been setup, to provide a platform for artists, of all genres, who help in promoting India’s Art, Culture & Value systems.
The SGMF has given artists an opportunity to help promote India’s art and cultural heritage.
Pavagada School
Gramothan Foundation (Maini Group) has constructed Government Primary School at the cost of Rs.30 lacs in Ivarahalli Panchayat, Pavagada Taluk, Tumkur District as Part of CSR activities. MP Narayanswamy and MLA Venkataramanappa participated in the handing over the school to the Government.
Bhogapura School
Gramothan adopted one more school - Bogapura Govt. School at DB. Kuppe Grama Panchayath. Invited special guest for School Opening ceremony program Mr C Anil Chikkamadhu (MLA HD Kote) and ZP president, TP members, Grama Panchayath president and Forest Department, BRC, CRP Education dept. and local people and childrens.
